Stuck on 60% loading screen. Archived post. New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. I get that far then the whole game crashes. I have had it take a long time (minutes) at 60%, specifically when switching from a character in the early early game to a character in the late game.

I found a fix: Whoever is crashing needs to go into the video settings and tick the box for slow HDD mode, even if you're on a SSD. I think the problem comes from their character loading in before the rest of the world had finished loading for them, and that setting helps load everything fast enough to have everything ready before you're in. 11.
