There are no sizing differences, as far as furniture, between AK-74M and AK-103 (or AKM) variants. However, wood will never look truly authentic on a weapon with a 90 degree gas block and the Arsenal polymer stuff is more practical - it's light, almost indestructible and will last hundreds of years without any kind of special care.

What has to be done to install either of these on the rifle? Up for sale is a custom set of Saiga 12 wood furniture. This is a Izmash factory 308 wood stock set that has been modified to fit a Saiga 12 shotgun. All pieces are made from hardwood with a great color and shine to it, in perfect condition. The buttstock has a MUCH better grip angle than the plastic factory one, the difference is night and day.

As far as I know, this furniture would fit the Saiga-100 in 308 just as easily. The wood used is sassafrass and isn't sanded very much. The purpose of this set was to verify the dimensions of my pattern.
