The Specs. The CPX-1 is small enough to carry easily in a purse or even fit in a pocket, yet stout enough to be intimidating to anyone standing on the wrong end. The gun is a sub-compact 9mm with just 6” of overall length and a 3.1” barrel. It stands at 4.2” and weighs just 15 ounces.

It is not a range gun, well at least for not more than a box of ammo. The CPX weighs in at just under 16 oz. and combine that with a 9mm, it can be a bit snappy and will wear you out soon enough. But is is accurate enough to get good groups and have fun with it. It is not a long distance shooter.

On my sample, the effort to pull the trigger back registered at 10 pounds with the usual stacking as the mechanism reached its most rearward position.
