Do not establish your own kingdom until you are economically and militarily secure. Have a few million in the bank and own a few towns in good locations (i.e., not scattered all over the map). And have a good army with at least a couple of parties that you can call into an army when you want to.Depends what you call a civil war. Actual civil war in a faction is you leaving the faction with all your holdings and creating your kingdom of the same culture. I don't think you can take over the OG faction that way. To change kings, they must die by any means.
